Disneyland Refurbishments & Closings

I read a month ago that Pirates and blue Bayou would be closed the week of Oct 21st thru 25th when we are flying down to stay that week. Now I can't find it. Hopefully it will be open when we go. 1st trip for the 4 grandkids. Ty

Do you know how long Winnie the Pooh will be closed? I noticed on the app it is closed starting September 16th and the schedule isn't out yet beyond the 28th.

Your Dates are wrong for Hyper Space Mountain. Disneyland website says Aug 26,28 and Sept 19th.

Where did you get the information that Hyperspace Mountain will be closed August 12th and 14th? It doesn’t say it will be closed on the app. We’re just concerned because we are going the 12th and 13th and that’s our favorite. Thank you!

Any idea if World of Color in DCA will be under refurbishment for Halloween? I know they'll be doing a show for the Halloween party and I'm hoping to go early September. I hope its not down, that's an amazing show!

Do a lot of rides close for a couple days to take holiday decorations down or is it basically all done overnight.

Hi, looking at the calendar during our upcoming teil; August 12th -16th, Hyperspace Mountain is listed as “closed for refurbishment on Monday, the 12th and Wednesday, the 14th. Oddly, not listed as closed on Tuesday, the 13th, or the 15th or 16th. Any ideas?

Also, any idea why DCA closes at 5:00 pm on Thursday, the 15th? Every other day is 9:00 pm.

My family and I will be at Disneyland on May 20th, I know the Sleeping Beauty Castle won't be finished until May27/28, but do you think at least that huge wall completely covering it might be down by then? I sure hope so, it sort of takes away the magic!

Called reservations line the other day. Wanted to make a lunch reservation for Cafe Orleans for our trip. Had tried for a few weeks off and on with no luck. Gal said the restaurant is closed until Wednesday May 22nd now, even though it says 16th online.

Also was told they expect to re-open the castle on 5/28

I have a hunch that the castle will be back open May 24th (My birthday and 1st day of our Disney trip) based on the Bibbidi Bobbiti Boutique closure. I bet they are moving them back to the castle during the closure!!! I sure hope so:)

We are looking to visit from Australia in January of 2020, however I’m trying to gather some information about the shows and entertainment that will be operating but with not a lot of luck. I’m aware that there will be closures of a few attractions and rides however would love to know what big events will be on during the evening prior to booking. Do you know if World Of Color operates in January? Any idea as to what the Disneyland shows are? We are thinking January 10th-20th but are flexible within that month. Thanks for any info ????

We're making our first trip to Disneyland in May and I called yesterday morning to make reservations at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique only to find out they are closed for renovations from May 15th-May 25th. I didn't see this information posted anywhere on their website. Does anyone have any alternatives before I break the news to our little princesses?

I noticed WOC dining/dessert packages are shown on the website till late April, but May dates haven't opened yet. Fantasmic dining packages show through May 4. What does this mean? Are they taking WOC down in May again? Thanks.

As of tonight (2/10/19) it says Space Mountain is down for refurbishment. (Boo hoo! We go in 9 days.) So you may want to update your date above.

Does anyone have the slightest clue when World Of Color will reopen? The Disneyland website says “Scheduled to return soon.” But when is soon? We have a trip planned in April and would love to see the show.

We will be visiting Disneyland in mid July as a surprise for our daughter to celebrate her college graduation. Her birthday is also during that week--July 17. We know that is also Disneyland's birthday. Is there anything special that happens if your birthday is the same day, and you're also in the park that day?

My finance and I are planning our honeymoon to California and are making one of our stops to DL. We just saw that Sleeping Beauty castle has been fenced off. We already bought our 2 day tickets w/max pass and were planning to visit the parks on April 1st and 2nd. Is there a possibility this will be reopened?? We will be so bummed if we can't get that iconic photo in front of the castle with our bride and groom Mickey ears :(

Hi! We booked our trip March 3rd-March 6th. I looked for frozen live times and dates, but nothing shows after the end of February. Is that just because it's just too much in advance? Same with their dining experience. No available dates. Also, is Fantasmic showing typically that time of the year? I am just nervous we picked a "in between" time of the year to go.
