Los Angeles

Dodger Stadium is a modern marvel of engineering and design. Built in 1962, it is one of the oldest ballparks in Major League Baseball (MLB). With its great history, beautiful setting and electric atmosphere, Dodger Stadium is a must-see for any sports fan.

Dodger Stadium - Entrance

Where Is Dodger Stadium Located?

Located in the heart of Los Angeles, Dodger Stadium is one of the most iconic baseball stadiums. It's renowned for its breathtaking views of the city skyline, and its classic design has remained largely unchanged since its opening. Home to the Los Angeles Dodgers, one of the most successful franchises in MLB history, the atmosphere at Dodger Stadium is uniquely special. Whether it's the seventh-inning stretch or the roar of the crowd after a home run, there is something magical about being a part of the Dodger Stadium experience.

The stadium is easily accessible for visitors by car, public transportation and bike. If traveling by car, the closest freeways are the 2, 5 and 110. Dodger Stadium parking gates open two and a half hours before game time, while stadium gates open two hours before. Those taking public transportation can use the Dodger Stadium Express, a free shuttle service that runs from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, or take the Metro Red Line to the Stadium Station. For those arriving by bike, there are plenty of bike racks located around the stadium.

Choosing Seats at Dodger Stadium

Dodger Stadium - Seats

Dodger Stadium has a seating capacity of 56,000. One of the best places to sit at Dodger Stadium is in the lower reserved sections, located between the baselines. These seats provide the best view of the entire field, and the low elevation gives fans the opportunity to catch foul balls that come their way. For an even more up-close experience, consider the exclusive Dugout Club, located directly behind home plate. The most economical options will be the Top Deck and Reserve levels.

Activities at Dodger Stadium

The stadium's award-winning concession stands provide a variety of delicious food and drinks, so you can enjoy a Dodger Dog, Philly cheesesteak or nachos while you take in the game. On top of that, the stadium also offers a wide variety of craft beer and cocktails, giving you the perfect way to cheers to your favorite team.

The new center field plaza was introduced in 2021, featuring new bars, restaurants, a home run seating area, kids' play areas and retail locations. It also pays homage to Dodger history with player statues and the "Legends of Dodger Baseball" plaques.

If you're attending a Friday night game at Dodger Stadium, stay behind after the final out and watch a themed fireworks show or drone show to get a little more bang for your buck. Not so much a baseball fan? Dodger Stadium also occasionally hosts concerts and other special events.

Whether you're a die-hard Dodgers fan or a casual visitor, watching a game at Dodger Stadium will surely be an experience to remember!
