The new album name gives inspiration to the tour name. "The Saviors" Tour is on sale as of Nov. 10, 2023, to celebrate 30 years of "Dookie" and 20 years of "American Idiot." The U.S. tour takes place from late July through the end of September 2024. You'll hear both of these albums and more on "The Saviors" Tour.
The punk, alternative rock band has won numerous awards, including Grammys and even Tony awards for the rock musical Broadway show with songs from the "American Idiot" album and additional songs from "21st Century Breakdown."
Setlist
The setlist features all the popular favorites from over 30 years and maybe even some fun cover songs. We have been lucky enough to see Green Day play five times, and every concert was a little different from the others with songs in a different order. But each show contained all the popular songs you'd expect to hear and then some. Green Day usually plays for about two hours.
The crowd gets warmed up before the band hits the stage with some sing-along recorded songs such as:

Who Are the Green Day Opening Acts?
The Green Day stadium tour has an impressive lineup. Opening acts in the U.S. include the Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas. The Smashing Pumpkins are missing a few performance dates, including Aug. 15, 20, 26 and Sept. 10.
The Europe/UK leg of the tour features Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The Interrupters and Maid of Ace.

When does Green Day go on stage? These were the approximate set times when we saw them:
- Linda Lindas (four-song set): 5:30 p.m.
- Rancid: 6 to 6:35 p.m.
- Smashing Pumpkins: 7 to 8 p.m.
- Green Day: 8:20 (pre-music) 8:30 p.m. on stage
- 10:50 p.m. concert ends
Green Day does not do encores. The actual times may vary by venue, opening time and by who is playing.
