As you probably heard, Disney had paused tickets sales for just a tadbit while it implemented a new park reservation system to manage attendance as it welcomes park-goers back to the magic. We have some hopping good news to share — 2021 Walt Disney World tickets are now available for purchase! Even better, we can save you some green when you buy through us! In order to visit a park, you must have valid admission and make a park reservation. This post is intended to walk you through the process of purchasing and linking new tickets, and booking your park reservation.
Currently, Disney is only allowing new ticket sales for visits between Jan. 1, 2021 through Sept. 26, 2021. At this time, only existing ticket holders and pass holders are being allowed to make reservations for the remainder of 2020. Tickets for the remaining dates of 2020 are expected to go on sale later this summer.
Existing ticket holders: Your tickets have been extended for any start date until Sept. 26, 2021, so you do not need to pick a start date for purchase. Simply link your tickets and make park reservations.
How to Make a Park Reservation for New Ticket
As mentioned above, Disney is managing attendance through a new theme park reservation system that will require all guests to obtain a reservation for park entry in advance.
Each member in your party ages 3 and up is required to have a park reservation and valid admission for the same park on the same date. At this point in time, there is no park hopping, and flexible-date tickets are no longer available.
We’ve made it easy to see park availability, so you can purchase tickets for the dates you want! Here is how to make a park reservation with a new Disney ticket.
1. Confirm Disney Park Pass availability on our ticket calendar or on the official Disney availability calendar.
Pick a start date for your trip. The usage window cannot have any "unavailable" days. For example, a 5-day ticket has an eight-day usage window. All eight days have to be available, or you would not be able to complete the purchase.
2. After purchase, link your ticket to My Disney Experience. We will be emailing your E-Ticket numbers or physical ticket numbers (in advance of mailing), so that you can link them right away.
3. Make a Disney Pass reservation immediately after linking your tickets to My Disney Experience for park admission on your selected dates!
