Updated Sept. 6, 2013: Disney has confirmed that the official opening date for Princess Fairytale Hall is Sept. 18.
With so many fantastic events right around the corner -- Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, just to name a couple -- we know many of you are gearing up for visits to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall. And while a ton of new experiences and attractions have opened at the parks already this year, one of the most anticipated is Princess Fairytale Hall, a new dedicated meet-and-greet location for a number of the Disney princesses.
On Friday, the Disney Parks Blog revealed a number of new tantalizing details about Princess Fairytale Hall, including that the marquee for the regal space is now in place -- with an opening set for this fall!
One of the big questions surrounding Princess Fairytale Hall has been which princesses will be meeting there, and we received a partial answer to that question Friday. Cinderella and Rapunzel will meet greet their loyal subjects there full time, and both of them will meet with an additional princess, so there will be four princesses at any given time. We know for many of you with little princes and princesses of your own that meeting Disney royalty is a big deal, and the good news is there will be Fastpass for this attraction, since wait times to meet the princesses can be very long.
While an official opening date has yet to be revealed, those of you using the Walt Disney World Resort's official website may note that it is listed on the park schedule for Magic Kingdom starting Sept. 18. If you're visiting around this time, we recommend picking up a Times Guide to confirm the princess meet-and-greet location and keep your fingers crossed! You just might find yourself holding court in the princesses' new digs.
After Princess Fairytale Hall, the last remaining attraction to open in New Fantasyland is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which is scheduled to open in 2014.
What are you most looking forward to at the Walt Disney World Resort this fall?
