Here Are This Week’s Theme Park Highlights:
- We are toadally excited for the debut of Disneyland Park's all-new parade, "Magic Happens!" And who better to kick off the parade than the main mouse himself? Disney Parks Blog gave us a sneak peek of the magic heading our way in less than two weeks, and the very first person, err, mouse, that guests will see is Mickey himself in an outfit inspired by Sorcerer Mickey! He'll glide along the parade route on glistening swirls of magic that emerge from a giant, 15-foot tall sorcerer's hat. Whoa!
- You can rock a sorcerer hat just like Mickey! Along with the debut of the parade, "Magic Happens" merch will be available in Disneyland Park on Feb. 28, including these toadally fun Mickey ears plus an ornament, T-shirts, sippers and pins.
- Disney's Animal Kingdom is gearing up for a big celebration! The 50th anniversary of Earth Day and the 25th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund are hoppening on the very same day this year: April 22! From April 18 to 22, Disney's Animal Kingdom will celebrating, culminating in an all-day soiree April 22 complete with expert speakers (hi, Joe Rohde!), behind-the-scenes tours, limited edition merchandise and food, and so much more!
- "The Fastest Hunk of Junk in the Galaxy" is about to get a little faster at Disneyland Park! Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will be offered through FASTPASS and MaxPass soon! Here we come, Hondo!
- Likewise, Autopia in Disneyland Park and Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! in Disney California Adventure Park are now available through FASTPASS and Disney MaxPass. Wahoo! - Guess what? Guests attending Universal Studios Hollywood's Peacock Live! event will be among the first to ride the all-new The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash attraction! The separately ticketed event, taking place March 28 and 29, will also include panels with the cast of "This Is Us" and "Good Girls," the chance to spin around in the red chairs of "The Voice" and other special appearances and activities. - Love is in the air at Walt Disney World Resort! If you'll be in the theme parks, don't froget to take advantage of special PhotoPass opportunities to snap a pic with your sweetie (or to show yourself some love!).
