Team Overview
A professional baseball team, the Minnesota Twins play in the American League Central Division of the MLB. Established in 1901 as the Washington Senators, they moved to Minnesota in 1961 and were renamed after the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. They currently play their home games at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis. Their colors are red, navy blue and white, and the current Twins manager is Rocco Baldelli.
Throughout the franchise's history, they've won various division titles (most recently in 2023) as well as American League pennants and three World Series titles. For the 2024 season, the team hopes to defend their Central Division title.
