These days when visiting an MLB ballpark, you have a looooooot more snack and food options than just the classic hot dogs, peanuts and Cracker Jack. Every season, each team introduces a lineup of new foods and drinks for fans, so let's take a look at some of the new items available during the 2024 season!
New MLB Treats for the 2024 Season
Tropicana Field (Tampa Bay Rays)
Imagine soft pretzels and cinnamon rolls having a baby, and that's what you'll get with the new Sweet Pretzel Bites with cinnamon sugar, vanilla glaze and caramel drizzle at the new Twisted food stand. This sweet snack knocked it out of the park, and you can even take the glove-shaped plate home as a fun souvenir! Other new options include a Korean Corn Dog and Pretzel Pork Reuben (Pig & Potato), Short Rib Nachos and Short Rib Cheesesteak (Melted) and a new Gluten-Free Favorites stand serving up gluten-free chicken tenders, hot dogs and smash burgers and fries.
Guaranteed Rate Field (Chicago White Sox)
The buzziest new item at Guaranteed Rate Field is the 16-ounce Campfire Milkshake, which is topped with graham crackers, marshmallows and pieces of chocolate and served in a souvenir cup. It's even Simone Biles-approved!
Oriole Park at Camden Yards (Baltimore Orioles)
Grab a friend or two! The Orioles have introduced The Warehouse Dog, a fully loaded footlong hot dog topped with horseradish-infused brick sauce, pit beef queso fundido, pickled pico and onions on a pretzel bun.
Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals)
If you like the acquired taste of blue cheese, the Back to Blue Burger is calling your name. The burger features a blue bun (!) with toppings including blue cheese crumbles, bacon, lettuce and buffalo aioli. The aesthetic rivals Spongebob Squarepants' Pretty Patties (if you know, you know).
Fenway Park (Boston Red Sox)
Honoring Boston's Irish roots, you can find Irish Nachos at Fenway Park this year. Corned beef, sauerkraut, sour cream, Thousand Island dressing and queso fresco will smother a pile of waffle fries.
Dodger Stadium (Los Angeles Dodgers)
@undercovertouristlive Top 3 new items to grab at Dodger’s Stadium this season! 1- Short Rib Souvenir Bowl 🍲 2- Home Run Platter 🏟️ 3- Takoyaki 🐙 So many amazing eats and oh ya…. BASEBALL 😂. With the arrival of two Japanese stars, Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (thanks to off-season trades), Dodger Stadium welcomes new Japanese concessions, including Takoyaki (octopus balls). We also tried the Short Rib Souvenir Bowl (Korean short rib served over rice and kimchi) and the Home Run Platter (a chicken teriyaki skewer, vegetable egg roll, potstickers and vegetable tempura) — both hits in our eyes!
Chase Field (Arizona Diamondbacks)
It technically made its debut during the 2023 World Series, but now it's a permanent addition to the roster — the Apple Pie Chimichanga! This sweet dessert is basically an apple pie burrito with cinnamon sugar, caramel, vanilla fro-yo, whipped cream and Cracker Jack.
Petco Park (San Diego Padres)
The Birria craze isn't over yet. The Draft by Ballast Point has added Birria egg rolls with Fresno chiles to the menu. YUM!
T-Mobile Park (Seattle Mariners)
When you have two players named Mitch in the starting lineup, you obviously have to dedicate a 'wich to them — and that's exactly what "The Double MitchWich" offers. Inspired by Mitch Haniger and Mitch Garver, the Haniger half contains grilled chicken breast, marinated tomatoes, bacon, Havarti cheese and a fried avocado wedge, while the Garver side has pulled pork, sliced black forest ham, Swiss cheese, dijonnaise and sliced pickles.
PNC Park (Pittsburgh Pirates)
Pirates, Pittsburgh, pierogis, pot roast and pickles. The Renegade Hot Dog offers a unique twist on a classic dog. Plus, did we mention it's a footlong?
