Here Are This Week’s Theme Park Highlights:
- Do you hear the jingle bells ringing? Well, we know it's only July, but Walt Disney World has just announced new and returning holiday fun for 2018. The fresh highlights? Some holiday fun will be leaping into Toy Story Land, and Animal Kingdom's UP! A Great Bird Adventure will pay tribute to Diwali. Joy to the (Disney) World, indeed!
- Our Swimmin' Summer Sale is hoppening now, with the lowest prices of the year on Disneyland Resort tickets. These tickets don't expire until early 2020 (and you know how much we love planning in advance!), so hop on this deal while it lasts for any upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
- Anarchy awaits at Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights. Recently released film "The First Purge" will have its own maze that will make guests victims of the terror that is the lawless purge. Beware ... just like in the films, there will be no law enforcement to save you here.
- We *love* how Universal Orlando Resort is constantly improving! In an effort to make grabbing a locker ahead of The Mummy ride easier and more efficient, there is a brand new locker area indoors, just beyond the marquee. This spacious stretch will make stowing your stuff away that much smoother before riding one of our favorite thrilling attractions.
- Since Leap's motto is, "If it's free, it's for me!" ... It is our duty to remind you of the free beer promotion taking place at SeaWorld Orlando through Sept. 2. Stop by Mama's Pretzel Kitchen Patio for two free 7 oz. pours of your choice. We recommend SeaWorld's very own Mako Red Ale!
- You already KNOW we are hoppin' for anything Toy Story Land ... so we loved seeing Sarge and a troop of our favorite green army men visit with the Orlando City Soccer Club for a toy-inspired training session. These guys sure know how to practice drills, and with the GIANT Pixar ball, no less! If you're in Orlando this weekend, hop on over to the special Toy Story-themed game night tomorrow.
