Get out your cameras and autograph books, my froggy friends! Tadpoles and tadpoles at heart will get the chance to meet and take photos with some beloved new characters later this year all across Walt Disney World Resort.
Starting in Disney's Animal Kingdom, just in time for the park's 25th anniversary, Moana will be docking her canoe in Discovery Island for the very first time. Fellow voyagers will be able to meet Disney's most adventurous princess beginning April 22. Talk about a "shiny" silver anniversary!
Hopping over to EPCOT ... everyone's favorite purple dragon, Figment, will be getting his long-awaited meet-and-greet in the park's Imagination! pavilion later this summer.
Finally, things are about to get a bit more magical (or, should I say, "Madrigal") at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Mirabel, from the Academy Award-winning hit Disney film, "Encanto," will be starring in her very own meet-and-greet at Magic Kingdom this fall! Fairytale Garden — currently occupied by a meet-and-greet with the brave and feisty Merida — will soon be transformed with whimsical décor inspired by la Familia Madrigal and their enchanted Casita. (Merida will still be able to be seen in the Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade.)
