2024-2025 NFL Schedule — Highlights
The NFL season will open with the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024 (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC & Peacock). This Patrick Mahomes versus Lamar Jackson rematch from last year’s AFC Championship Game, when Kansas City won 17-10, will be the beginning of the Chiefs’ quest to make NFL history by being the first team to ever win three Super Bowls in a row. Super Bowl LIX will be played on Feb. 5, 2025, in New Orleans, LA.
There is something special about seeing international NFL fans show out for the games played overseas. We will not have to wait long to see this excitement as Week 1 brings the first international game with the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles traveling to São Paulo, Brazil to play on Friday, Sept. 6 (8:15 p.m. ET, Peacock). Other international matchups include the New York Jets versus the Minnesota Vikings in London on Sunday, Oct. 6 (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network), the Chicago Bears versus the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday, Oct. 13 (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network), the Jacksonville Jaguars versus the New England Patriots in London on Sunday, Oct. 20 (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network), and the New York Giants versus the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 10 (9:30 a.m. ET, NFL Network) in Munich, Germany.
In typical holiday fashion, eyes will be on the matchups played on both Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys will continue with their long traditions of playing on Turkey Day, which falls on Thursday, Nov. 28. The Lions will take on the Chicago Bears (12:30 p.m. ET, CBS & Paramount+), and the Cowboys will host the New York Giants (4:30 p.m. ET, Fox). The prime-time matchup on Thanksgiving will feature Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins traveling to take on Jordan Love and the Packers (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).
Christmas Day will feature a doubleheader that will be streamed exclusively on Netflix for the first time ever. The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Acrisure Stadium to play the Pittsburgh Steelers (1 p.m. ET, Netflix), and the Baltimore Ravens will be spending their Yuletide in Houston as they play the Texans (4:30 p.m. ET, Netflix).
The regular season will come to an end on Jan. 5, 2025.
