Summary
Want to know what's going to be closed while you're visiting the theme parks? We've put together this list of Walt Disney World (plus Universal Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando) closings and refurbishments. Refurbishments are temporary closures and can subject to change without notice. Permanent closures are rides that are no longer active in the parks, and seasonal are those that take place annually. As Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando reopen to guests, note that some experiences and attractions may be amended or temporarily unavailable.

Walt Disney World® Resort Refurbishments
Here is a list of all temporary Disney World closings. It is not uncommon for Disney to change refurbishment times — to move up or postpone temporary closures — so check back as your trip gets closer! During the initial reopening phase, parades and character meet and greets were unavailable. But as of now, Festival of Fantasy returned March 9, 2022, and traditional character greetings have begun to return, as of April 18. Additionally, fireworks returned to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT July 1, 2021, and more and more entertainment continues to return.
