Mommy Frog's Note: It's the very last day of the month to enter our Undercover Tourist contest for September, and all you have to do is share with us your theme park Top 5 list. Today's list comes from Paige Pavlik, who shares her top 5 reasons to take a child to SeaWorld the first two weeks in December, and we think it's perfect timing!
While we're still a few months away from December, we know many of you are planning a trip to Orlando for the upcoming holiday season. While the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve see the highest crowds of the year, the first two weeks of December are a great time to experience the theme parks because the overall crowd levels are low and the parks are decorated for the holidays. SeaWorld Orlando, in particular, has a number of special Christmas shows and activities during its Christmas Celebration, making it a spectacular time to visit. O Wondrous Night is based upon The Christmas Story and told through the eyes of a variety of animals, making it a living nativity! The Polar Express Experience immerses children in the holiday classic by the same name, and ends with a vist with Santa Claus himself! Clyde and Seamore's Countdown to Christmas sees the comedic sea lions sharing the Christmas spirit -- along with plenty of laughs.
Without further ado, here are Paige's highlights from SeaWorld in December!
1) There are no long lines for any of the rides.
2) The Polar Express Experience is awesome and makes for great pictures.
3) The animal show Pets Ahoy is great for children, and they get to pet the dogs after the show.
4) The live manger show O Wondrous Night is wonderful with its real camels. Children love this!
5) The Sea lion show with the sea otter is a show stopper.
