When it is very hot in Orlando, we always try to freeze a bottle of water the night before. When we get to the park, we add water to the bottle of ice. The ice will gradually melt, but you will be able to have real cold water most of the day. Unfortunately the water fountains can sometime get hot in the summer.

Our favorite way to cool down at Disney is to grab a lounge chair, pool side, at the Polynesian Resort. Surrounded by tropical plants, the sound of Hawaiian music serenades you as you sip on an exotic frozen drink from the bar. A glance in the distance displays a white sandy beach with the Seven Seas Lagoon lapping up to the shore....... A few beach toys, some sunblock and you have the perfect way to enjoy the heat!

I carry a washcloth in a baggie. When the heat gets to be too much, I just wet it either at a drinking fountain or restroom and cool down my face and neck :)

Our favorite way to cool off when at the parks is to find a nice shaded spot to sit in and have a drink or ice cream. This way we are still out enjoying the parks, yet cooling off and relaxing for a bit! Shopping in the cool shops also helps ;)

I like to stand under the misting fans while waiting in line for the character meet and greets in Animal Kingdom. I also like to bring my own refillable water bottle and keep filling it with ice thru out the day to hold against my head.
