The United States Golf Championship is one of four major golf championships along with The Masters, Open Championship and the PGA Championship. Held each June, the US Open has been a staple for premier golf talent for over 125 years. The tournament consists of four rounds (one round each day) with 18 holes each. The player with the lowest number of strokes after all rounds wins.
When Is the US Open Golf?
The US Open Golf Championship is held every June, typically on the third weekend. The 2023 US Open ran from June 15 to June 18. The next US Open will be from June 13 to 16, 2024.
Where Is the US Open Golf?
The location of the US Open changes each year, with many courses being repeat hosts over the decades. The 2024 US Open will be held at the Pinehurst Country Club, Course Number 2, near Charlotte, North Carolina. The club last hosted the championship in 2014.
