For a good quick service meal, I recommend Sunshine Seasons in the Land pavilion at Epcot. The food is fresh, healthy and there is lots of variety. I found that kids really appreciate the food more after they have been on Living with the Land , they can make the connection between what they have just seen and what they are eating . The menu is also a break from hot dogs, burgers and other 'kid's choices' that may not be so healthy. As a mom, I know I appreciated anything that temps my little ones to try something different AND healthy !

One of the things I always mention to friends visiting WDW is where to sit at the Animal & Magic Kingdom for optimal viewing of parades. At the Magic Kingdom, is on the 2nd floor of the Main Street Railroad station. If you get there in time you can get seating, you have a "birds eye" view, & at night can exit right out of the park ahead of the crowds. Which is super nice, because by the end of the day you are exhausted! :)

Our favorite kid-friendly dining experience so far has been breakfast at Chef Mickey's! My kids (and my husband and myself, of course) love the food (Mickey Waffles!!!) and the characters are so much fun! Goofy has always been very interactive with my family and you get to meet the other "original gang" all in one place without waiting in line. The decor of the restaurant is fun and inviting, you can also watch the monorail roll through. We like how open and airy the restaurant is as well, even though it is indoors.

I really like the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort. Great food selection not too crowded the characters spend a decent amount of time at your table and staff and scenery were great.

The rotating Garden Grill in The Land pavilion at Epcot is great for kids. The characters give the kids lots of attention. Not very crowded either. Dessert was very tasty :)

Pinocchio Haus is great for kids! You can sit upstairs out on the deck for a great view of Fantasyland or take a peak at the boats loading for it's a small world!

One tip that worked great last time for me is if you are leaving the a Magic Kingdom and there's a huge line for the monorail to get to the TTC, skip the line and take the monorail to the resorts. Second stop after the Contemporary, is the TTC. We tried it last time and saved a ton of time, and even got to sit for the ride .

We think the character breakfast at the Contemporary is the Best!

We've been to Crystal Palace a few times. The pooh characters, especially with younger kids, are great!

Biergarten in Germany is a favorite with my kids! They love to get up and dance and the whole family always finds something great at the buffet!

Our family likes Ohana at the Polynesian hotel. It's a great restaurant.

My son is a huge dinosaur fan so a stop at the T Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney is a must for us!

During our April 2013 trip my son slept thru all of our meals. Our Nivember trip is fast approaching and we are really looking forward to Hollywood and Vine play and eat with Disney Jr. We have heard so many positive reviews of the experience.

Oct 2, 2013 at 6:19 p.m. Patricia Peek Says...

Our son is autistic and doesn't do well in loud crowded places so we were so shocked when we went to Ohana and our son loved it! The food was fantastic. My husband loved that it was all you can eat and my son actually participated in the games and had a blast! We Love Disney and will always buy our tickets from Undercover Tourist. You have great customer service and quick shipping.

If you are staying at one of the WDW resorts remember to take time out to enjoy the facilities as the Magic Hours mean you can visit the parks earlier/later than the normal public hours allow

We love having breakfast at Crystal Palace on each trip. Everyone loves the Pooh characters and my kids like to join in on the parade around the restaurant! Plus, the buffet has choices to suit not only grown up tastes, but kids as well. There is even a short counter with kid friendly items where they can serve themselves! it's perfect!

Can't wait to get back "home" to Disney World. Love to find new tips and things I didn't think about. Change up the vaca a little each time. Disney is great for ALL ages.

I haven't eaten at a lot places. Hoop Dee Doo Review was fun. Even my 4 and 2 year old were content there. I had a friend that just went to Disney and she said that Chef Mickey's was very fun and kid friendly.

Character dinner at the Land because the restaurant revolves and when we went it wasn't very crowded and the characters gave us a LOT of attention and even sat down with us!

We like the breakfast at Tusker House with Donald. The kids love that there are donuts there and they get to meet some of their favorite characters.

Oct 2, 2013 at 5:05 p.m. Chris Says...

We have had a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's both times we've visited WDW. Our son loved that he was able to see the Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, and Donald Duck without having to get up from breakfast!

Oct 2, 2013 at 4:23 p.m. Steve Says...

The character breakfast at the Contemporary Resort is very kid-friendly and well worth the cost. The kids will talk about their experience for years to come and you'll have every breakfast food imaginable within arm's reach.

Haven't been yet but we are really looking forward to spending time in the pool at Coronado Springs on our upcoming trip! :)
