Which room category is best for your stay?

There are many things to consider when choosing which room category is best for your stay. It all comes down to preference and what will make your stay the most comfortable on board the Disney Magic. The Disney Magic has four (4) main categories with various room types within each category. There is a room category that fits every family and budget!

Things to consider for first time cruisers

Worried about sea sickness? To minimize the feeling of ship rocking, opt for a cabin located in the middle of the ship on a lower deck. A room with a verandah also helps with direct access to fresh air from the comfort of your stateroom.
Light sleeper? Opt for a room that is not located above or below main dining areas, pool decks or lounges to reduce noise.
Traveling in a large group? Request a connecting cabin to stay close!
Worried about getting around the ship? Consider staying in a cabin in the same area of the ship as where you'll frequent to reduce having to walk. For example, relaxation lovers should stay in a Forward cabin for an elevator closest to the Spa.

One of the best things about cruising with Disney Cruise Line is the frogtastic amenities and services offered throughout. From water activities to sports and games, the Disney Magic has all the recreational activities to keep the fun going all day long!

Water Activities

Splash into fun on the Disney Magic in the three (3) freshwater pools, two (2) splash pads and one (1) water slide. There is a place to cool down for the entire family!

AquaDunk

Experience a high-speed, thrilling adventure on the AquaDunk waterslide. Climb to the ship's highest point, hop in the loading capsule, and wait in an anticipation-building countdown before the floor drops out beneath you, sending you on a 212-foot twisting and turning ride with an unfrogettable splashdown. Designed with input from Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, the AquaDunk is a thrilling must-ride body slide onboard the Disney Magic!

Goofy's Pool

This family-friendly pool is the hub for both recreation and entertainment. Prepare for aquatic fun at the main pool, two (2) whirlpool spas, and the pool deck for a range of Cast Member led games and on-deck activities. Plus, enjoy movies and other programming on the jumbo LED screen for ways to play all day!

AquaLab

This 1,800-square foot water playground is an interactive water zone filled with playful inventions, including pouring paint cans, raining showerheads, pop jets, and geysers galore! Dedicated to guests 3 years and older, AquaLab is a multi-level experience filled with all the chills and thrills. Bigger tadpoles looking for a screaming good time can hop on Twist 'n' Spout AquaLab's double-looping waterslide, spanning nearly 250 feet! Plus, Nephews' Splash Zone is perfect for infants and toddlers to get in on the magic.

Quiet Cove Pool

This adult exclusive pool offers a serene retreat, where adults can unwind. Enjoy varying depths of pool from plunge to shallow and sip cocktails as you sunbathe.

Wide World of Sports

Does your family have a competitive edge? The Wide World of Sports recreational area has endless fun for the whole family, with basketball courts, ping-pong tables and panoramic ocean views. Plus, slide into the action with a game of shuffleboard or run on the 1/3 mile running track with stunning ocean views.

Dining

From table service to quick service to snacks to all-you-can-serve ice cream on board, there are plenty of dining options that will suit the entire family! Disney cruises feature Rotational Dining for dinner. Each night you and your personal wait staff will rotate between the three (3) themed restaurants, ensuring a unique setting and delicious meal. Dinner times occur at approximately 5:45 p.m. (main seating) and 8:15 p.m. (second seating). You're assigned seating time is selected when your book your cruise, dependent on availability. Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story

This captivating musical picks up where the classic Cinderella film left off, exploring the question of what would happen if Cinderella never had a chance to put on the glass slipper. With beloved characters, including a new villain, the wicked Fairy Godfather Franco DiFortunato, the story unfolds as he sends Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters back in time to destroy the slipper, putting Cinderella's happily-ever-after in jeopardy. Disney Dreams - An Enchanted Classic

Delight in this enchanting musical which celebrates the power of dreams and family, featuring a cast of beloved Disney characters. The story follows Anne Marie, a young girl, on her journey of self-belief and discovery. This live stage show showcases characters and songs from Disney classics like Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Cinderella, and Aladdin, offering an award-winning performance with stunning special effects and a special cameo by Tinker Bell, creating an enchanting experience for all ages.

Deck Parties

Mickey's Sail-A-Wave Party!... A Bon Voyage Celebration

A family-friendly event that happens on Deck 9 and takes place when the ship is leaving port. There is singing, dancing, ticker tape and fireworks. This is a frogtastic way to kick off your cruise after boarding and taking part in all of the safety drills.

Pirate Night

On select itineraries, Pirate Night starts at dinner when everyone is encouraged to dress up like a pirate or simply wear the bandannas that are provided in your room. The cabin staff will leave pirate bandannas and gold coins to help get you in the swashbuckling mood. On Deck 9, the pools are covered during the party and there are free pirate-themed games, a pirate show featuring Mickey Mouse, a musical sing-along and a massive fireworks show to end the night.

Frozen Deck Party

On select 7-night sailings meet Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and Olaf, embark on a scavenger hunt, create ice and snow, and learn a traditional Scandinavian dance. Enjoy a Nordic-inspired dinner and deck party, featuring a Frozen-themed dining experience, a star-studded show with Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, Olaf, and trolls, and a night filled with dancing, Frozen songs, and Elsa's magical ice powers.

Character Meet and Greets

Meet, greet and pose for a photo op with some of your favorite Disney Characters on the Disney Magic! You can find your favorite Disney pals in designated locations or wandering throughout the ship.

Disney Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12)

This part of the ship is like a theme park all on its own. You must make reservations for 1.5 to 2.5-hour blocks for each child. The playtime is led by multiple Oceaneer staff members where they facilitate storytime, dress up, character visits, interactive games, themed playgrounds, arts and crafts. The themed rooms include Marvel Super Hero Academy, Andy's room (from "Toy Story"), Disney Junior, animation rooms, video game rooms and Pixie Hollow, Tinker Bell's fairy forest.

Please Note: Children must be fully potty trained to be admitted into this club.

Edge (ages 11-14)

It is an interactive space with video games, a dance floor, karaoke, crafts, arcade, sports and lounge areas. The Disney Magic counselors host lots of daily activities that will get even your shyest tween to warm up and have a great time.

Vibe (ages 14-17)

At Vibe, your teen frog can find a smoothie bar, a soda fountain, a sundeck, an arcade, a DJ booth, a dance floor, a coffee area and even a lounge area with screens. This is an amazing place for teens to get off the screens and socialize in a space that's designed just for them!

Please Note: Even if your child is still in high school, if they are 18 they aren't allowed in the teen spaces.

Premium Enhancements

It's a Small World Nursery
(ages 6 months - 3)

Located on Deck 5 right next to the Oceaneer Club, It's a Small World Nursery is the perfect place for children ages 6 months to 3 years old. Just like the name implies, the entire space is themed after the "It's a Small World" attraction in the Disney theme parks. Your baby will be well cared for here as every caretaker is highly trained in infant safety. Reservations can be made in advance on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is an additional fee for nursery care.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Watch as Fairy Godmother's apprentices transform your tadpole into a princess, knight or sea captain. The Deluxe Carriage and Castle Packages offer princess makeovers, the Royal Knight Package brings valiant adventures, and the Captain Mickey Package brings high-sea shenanigans. For a dash of pirate mischief, the Pirates League offers pirate costumes, makeup, and accessories on Pirate Party Nights, available for kids 3 and older. Appointments are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited, be sure to book your appointment early.

Olaf's Royal Picnic

This one-of-a-kind celebration is where families get to partake in the Nordic Midsummer Festival, enjoy a scrumptious feast of fresh, flavorful, summertime treats served by Castle Staff and hang out with Olaf, Anna, Elsa and Kristoff. This specially priced experience takes place in the beautiful Arendelle Castle which is covered in a canopy of colorful flowers and filled with sprouting sunflowers. Be sure to make a reservation online before you set sail.

Adults Only Fun

From sun-up to sunset, adults can find a peaceful escape—from adults-only pool areas like Quiet Cove Pool, to intimate dining at Palo, late-night dancing at Fathoms, live piano music at Keys and luxurious spa treatments.

Fitness Center

If you're looking to stay in "ship-shape," then be sure to take advantage of the abundant recreation and fitness activities aboard the Disney Magic. You'll find the state-of-the-art fitness center on Deck 9 that offers spectacular views of the ocean. Complimentary fitness classes are offered at various times throughout the length of your voyage. Personalized fitness services are also available with an additional fee.

Senses Spa and Salon

This spa offers massages, facials, a hair salon, a juice and smoothie bar and a nail salon. Relax in the tranquil rainforest-themed aromatherapy steam rooms or sauna. Complimentary non-alcoholic drinks, plush sandals and robes are included during your treatment. Ahh, bliss! (Forward, Deck 9)
