With experience working as a radio DJ, exposure to Miami bass and time spent traveling around India, Diplo had an eclectic musical palette to pull from when he began creating mixes. After collaborating with M.I.A. on the Grammy-nominated track "Paper Planes", Diplo landed several notable collaborations as a producer with artists like Shakira, Robyn, Kid Cudi, Bruno Mars, No Doubt and Snoop Dogg. He continues to make collaborations a major focus of his work with music projects like Major Lazer, LSD, Jack Ü and Silk City and dabbles in a variety of EDM subgenres including house and dance-pop with the inclusion of hip-hop and trap reminiscent of his Miami upbringing.
