Meeting at an artist residency commune in Crete in 2009, the soon-to-be-members of GROUPLOVE became friends, forming the band a year later when they reunited in the recording studio. After a few successful shows, including a West Coast tour with Florence and the Machine, GROUPLOVE was called one of the top 10 “Best New Bands in 2010” by Nylon Magazine before ever releasing a song. Known for a 1990s-inspired indie rock with powerful undertones highlighted in Billboard No. 1 single “Tongue Tied”, this band has gone on to have features in video games, Apple commercials, television shows and more.
