Inspired by 1990’s country classics like The Chicks, Trisha Yearwood and Gillian Welch, Hailey Whitters followed the pull of country music, moving to Nashville for college. After writing for big names like Martina McBride, Alan Jackson and Little Big Town, Whitters saw success for her own acoustic single “Ten Year Town” and the follow-up “The Days”. Her first album to land on the Billboard charts, Raised, came in 2022, peaking at No. 9 and giving a glimpse into her Iowa roots.
