Joe Hisaishi Tickets

Japanese composer, musical director, conductor and pianist Joe Hisaishi is known for an impressive collection of film score work and solo albums since 1981. Having worked with famed animator and director Hayao Miyazaki since 1984, Hisaishi has been instrumental in almost all of Miyazaki's and Studio Ghibli’s films. In addition to his work with Miyazaki, he has also composed for a number of animes, video games, drama series and films. He has received numerous awards and accolades including a Medal of Honour with purple ribbon from the Government of Japan and received his first Western awards nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for 2023 The Boy and the Heron film.
