After spending most of his childhood playing Honky Tonk shows, Kendell Marvel moved to the Nashville, Tennessee area to pursue his dreams of being a country music star. Marvel got the chance to showcase his talent as a writer when he wrote "Right Where I Need to Be" on his very first day in Nashville and it hit No. 5 on Billboard's Country Music chart. Marvel's baritone and honky tonk roots lend themselves to his outlaw-style country music.
