Former rapper turned country rocker, Kid Rock has been playing professionally since 1988 when he signed to Jive Records at only 17 years old. After establishing himself as a Detroit hip-hop rapper, Kid Rock began to incorporate Twisted Brown Trucker, his live backing band, plus a light show, pyrotechnics and dancers into his performances, adopting a rock n' roll stage persona and leaning into a more country sound. Credited as a pioneer in developing the country rap genre with his single "Cowboy", this self-proclaimed King of White Trash knows how to rock out and party all night long.
