Keep in Mind
- With only three Disney Parks Hotels, availability is limited and prices reflect that
- As the grande dame of the Disneyland hotels, it is one of the priciest hotels—if not the priciest hotel—in Anaheim
- Some rooms do not have a sleeper chair or trundle bed, so it may be beneficial to book an additional room as requests are not guaranteed
- Standard occupancy is two (2) adults, so extra occupancy fees may apply if booking with more adults
- The hotel charges $35 ($40 for oversized vehicles) per night for self-parking
- The hotel charges $50 per night for valet parking
Notable Facts
- The reception area is based on the interior of the Swedenborgian Church in San Francisco
- The hotel was designed by Peter Dominick, who also designed Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
- It was inspired by the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park and The Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone National Park
Frog Family Tips
- Use the dedicated hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure Park to get over to Radiator Springs Racers—the most popular ride in the park!
- Take a tour of the Arts and Crafts artifacts in the lobby and dining areas during an hour-long tour
- Budget at least an hour to an hour and a half if you take Disneyland transportation from LAX
- Request a higher floor for less potential noise from foot traffic
Best For
- Families who want the ultimate Disneyland experience, who have young children and/or plan to come back to the hotel for breaks from the parks, and who want to be as close to California Adventure as possible
