Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment venue located right outside of Downtown Los Angeles. The stadium opened in 1923 and is memorial to
the U.S. Armed Forces during World War I. The Coliseum is known for helping start the migration of professional sports to the West Coast, acting as home stadium for multiple NFL and MLB teams. Over the years, it has hosted a variety of notable events including the two Olympics, two Super Bowls, and one World Series. In 2028, the stadium will add a third Olympics to its repertoire as the Olympics head to Los Angeles! The stadium is also home to the NCAA's USC Trojan college football program.
