Mexican Grupera band Los Bukis was formed in 1973 by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís and saw their first success with their debut song "Falso Amor". Their certified diamond 1986 album, Me Volvi a Acordar de Ti, sold millions after just a few weeks and landed in the Top 10 on the U.S. Top 200 chart. Utilizing traditional Mexican folk music like mariachi, cumbia and norteno mixed with modern pop and rock, these Latin performers dominated the Latin charts until their disbandment in 1996.
