American Family Insurance Amphitheater
The American Family Insurance Amphitheater is an outdoor amphitheater nestled into the south side of the Henry Maier Festival Park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Opened in 1987, this 23,000-capacity venue features unobstructed views of the stage and a frogtastic view of the Milwaukee skyline. As the cornerstone of Summerfest, one of the largest music festivals in the world with 800,000 attendees, the amphitheater bowl has heard the melodies of unfrogettable acts like Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Santana, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons, Shania Twain, Lil Wayne and Foo Fighters.
