Lena Horne Theatre
The Lena Horne Theatre is a Broadway performing arts venue located in the heart of Manhattan’s Theater District in New York City. Formerly known as the Mansfield Theatre and the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, the theater was renamed to honor the legendary performer and civil rights activist Lena Horne in 1960. As you hop to your seat, look up for an illuminating look at the original chandelier from when the theater opened back in 1926. The state-of-the-art facility has hosted a variety of musicals and plays, including the box office record-setting runs of “Waitress” and “SIX”. It is sure to be a ribbiting experience for anyone who attends a performance here and audiences will be jumping with joy at the talent on display!
