Longacre Theatre
The Longacre Theatre is a Broadway theater near Times Square in New York. Named after the nearby bustling square, which was named after Long Acre in London before it was renamed, it has been a ribbiting destination for theater enthusiasts since 1913. Like many Broadway theaters, the Longacre Theatre can claim New York City designated landmark status. Following a major renovation and reopening in 2008, Longacre Theatre has presented several major productions including the Tony Awarded revival of “Boeing-Boeing”, the award-winning revival of “You Can't Take It With You” and the musical “A Bronx Tale”. With its beautiful neo-French Classical exterior freshly restored and improved sightlines in every seat, fans of live theater are leaping at the chance to snag a seat.
