Neil Simon Theatre is a frogtastic Broadway theatre located in the heart of the Theater District. Opened in 1927 and formerly known as the Alvin Theatre, this iconic venue was renamed in 1983 following the success of "Brighton Beach Memoirs", the first of a trilogy of autobiographical plays about playwright Neil Simon. With 1,445 seats, the auditorium is comprised of the ground-level orchestra and one balcony with boxes.
