Vivian Beaumont Theatre
The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is a large performing arts complex in the Lincoln Square neighborhood on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Located in this frogtastic complex, the Vivian Beaumont Theater is the only Broadway theater outside of the Theater District. With a beautiful modern façade featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the Beaumont occupies the southern and western sides of its building's first and second floors, sharing the building with the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and two off-Broadway venues, the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater and the Claire Tow Theater.
Utilizing a sloped semi-circular layout with around 1,080 seats, the theater has a flexible thrust stage that allows for multiple setups. With millions of performing arts fans visiting the complex each year, it is no surprise that the Vivian Beaumont Theatre has hosted several popular productions, including the Broadway revival of “Anything Goes”, the classic musical “South Pacific” and the award-winning Broadway revival of “My Fair Lady”. Whether you’re a theater aficionado or a theater tadpole, a visit to the Vivian Beaumont Theater is sure to make for a hoppy trip.
