NHL Playoffs Tickets

The NHL Playoffs, more commonly referred to as the Stanley Cup Playoffs, is the annual National Hockey League (NHL) elimination tournament held in the post-season to determine the league champion. Eight (8) teams from the Eastern Conference and eight (8) teams from the Western Conference qualify to compete based on regular season points totals in the bracket-style elimination. While teams typically play a different team every night in the regular season, the playoffs require a best-of-seven style matchup between teams which can lead to major upsets. The champion of each conference then faces off in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals, the final round of the playoffs.

The NHL is the only major professional sports league in North America that uses the championship trophy to refer to their playoffs rather than the league name. With the Stanley Cup first being awarded in 1893, the Stanley Cup playoffs also have no shortage of quirky traditions, like the playoff beards both players and fans sport.
