Nikki Lane must have heard the advice about becoming your ex-partner to move on because after a country musician broke her heart and left her to record an album in Alabama, Lane decided to become a country star herself. Mixing indie sensibility with honky tonk country, Lane had already released her own debut album, Walk of Shame, when she happened to meet Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at a flea market, who in turn helped her to record her second album, All or Nothin’, for free. In addition to touring, Lane also owns and operates a clothing store called "High Class Hillbilly" in Nashville.
