There are several bus stops; resort often shares bus service with French Quarter
Although not as far as most of the other Moderate Resort Hotels, your walk to the lobby, pool and dining areas can be quite long if your room is far away

The food court is themed after a Southern cotton mill and includes a 35-foot, working water wheel
The grand lobby is meant to look like the inside of a river boat, with various ports of call listed above

Request a standard room in buildings 17, 26 or 28 in Alligator Bayou if you want to be closer to the lobby and dining areas (not all requests are guaranteed)
Book a room in Oak Manor in Magnolia Bend if you want to be closest to the lobby and dinning areas
Go for a swim while you're waiting on laundry; each of the laundry facilities is located near a quiet pool

Best For

Families of five; those who want more amenities than the Value Resort Hotels offer but don't need multiple on-site table service options and the other amenities of the Deluxe Resort Hotels

Courtly pillars, grand staircases and splendid gardens blend with the Mississippi-style waterways and gracious Southern hospitality.
