Report for duty as a Galactic Federation Security Agent recruit to help guard Experiment 626—also known as Stitch from the Walt Disney Pictures film "Lilo and Stitch." You’ll be introduced to “Sarge,” who explains the different “levels” of prisoners; Level 3 is the most dangerous, high-security prisoner possible. You’ll soon be alerted that a Level 3 prisoner (Experiment 626) is captured and on its way!
Quickly after, you’ll take a seat in this theater-in-the-round venue, get strapped in and experience the chaos that Stitch ensues. Of course, Stitch isn’t going to quietly and calmly surrender without trying some antics and escaping. During Stitch's Great Escape!, you’ll experience sensory effects, like water, smell and more. Magic Kingdom® Park may not be big enough to contain Stitch, and you never know when and where he will appear next!
Stitch’s Great Escape! is a little misleading. It looks like it would be suitable for all ages, but the special effects can really frighten young children. It is unexpectedly intense with elements like complete darkness, shoulder restraints, sensory effects and more. Tad and Leap love it; Mommy Frog and Lily definitely do not. The special effects scare the wits out of Lily, and Mommy Frog feels a little claustrophobic in the over-the-shoulder restraints.
The wait times for Stitch’s Great Escape! rarely exceed 20 minutes so we recommend saving it for after you’ve experienced more popular attractions in Tomorrowland® Area. Like the Frog Family, people either love it or hate it. We say try it once and judge for yourself!
Stitch’s Great Escape! is a multi-sensory experience featuring audio, video and Audio Animatronics technology and is located in Tomorrowland® Area at Magic Kingdom® Park. The duration of the attraction is 12 minutes; the pre-show entertainment lasts about 6 minutes. Each seat has a pull-down shoulder restraint. Guests must transfer from their motorized scooter or ECV to an available wheelchair to experience the attraction. Due to the nature of this attraction, guests with service animals should check with a Cast Member for boarding information.

This kid-friendly adventure takes place before the story told in the Walt Disney Pictures film "Lilo & Stitch."
This kid-friendly adventure takes place before the story told in the Walt Disney Pictures film "Lilo & Stitch." Weighing over 1,600 pounds each, the "plasma cannons" that track Stitch's DNA were inspired by devices from the Walt Disney Pictures animated comedy "Lilo & Stitch." Before Stitch’s Great Escape!, this attraction was Alien Encounter - a very similar but slightly more frightening experience with a scary alien. Much of the old attraction’s structure still remains.
