  • Luigi is part of Nintendo's "Mario" franchise, the younger fraternal twin brother and sidekick of Mario and first appeared in "Mario Bros." in 1983.
  • Princess Peach was introduced in the 1985 original "Super Mario Bros." game as Princess Toadstool.
  • Toad serves as one of Princess Peach's handlers, appears consistently as a supporting character in the franchise and debuted in 1985 in "Super Mario Bros."
