Bristol Motor Speedway

Home to the Tennessee leg of the NASCAR Cup Series, the Bristol Motor Speedway has been a racing fan’s dream destination since opening in 1961. Known as “The Last Great Colosseum” due to its Roman colosseum influence, the 146,000-capacity, 0.533-mile oval speedway is the place to be on race day. It is also the only track left on the NASCAR schedule with two pit road lanes and features a 30-by-63-foot Colossus TV screen above the track for fans in every seat to see the action up close.

The track has held a variety of events, including the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Truck Series, corporate-sponsored racing events, Food City 500, college football games, sprint car races and, in 2025, the first-ever Major League Baseball (MLB) game in Tennessee between the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds.
