Sarah Shook and the Disarmers Tickets

Fronted by a non-binary outlaw in their own right, country band Sarah Shook and the Disarmers grew to prominence regionally around North Carolina before refocusing on being a recording project. Mixing country-punk and twang into their own version of outlaw country that highlights Shook’s crisp jazzy vocals, the band landed themselves on several “Artists to Know” watch lists and secured a No. 2 spot on Indy Week's top 25 best albums of 2015 with their debut album Sidelong. Politically active in queer and civil rights spaces, Shook weaves honest introspection and defiance into their punk rock lyrics.
