The USS Midway is known for playing a vital role in the Cold War and serving during other essential operations throughout American History. As you explore, be sure to listen to the audio tour where sailors of the USS Midway provide first-hand accounts of what it was like out at sea. The Hangar and Flight Deck tour routes showcase the USS Midway’s exclusive collection of more than 30 restored Navy aircraft. Volunteers aboard the USS Midway will bring the Flight Deck alive with presentations on launching and landing aircraft and the adventures of life at sea. You’ll be able to discover what life aboard the USS Midway was truly like while exploring at your own pace.
