Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium
Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium is a football stadium home to the Missouri Tigers of the NCAA. Opened in 1926, Memorial Stadium was named in dedication to the alumni and students that died in World War I. A large white rock “M” built by students is a notable feature of the stadium, every year the seniors on the football team take a rock home after their final game. The stadium has a capacity of over 62,000. Over the years the stadium has hosted a variety of notable events including a concert by The Rolling Stones.
