The Gories Tickets

Formed in 1986 in Detroit, The Gories brought a unique sound with their garage punk that used two guitars and a drumset, with no bass in sight. None of the members were musicians prior to forming the band and had to teach themselves how to play before recording their first album, Houserockin’, in 1989. Following a chaotic European tour, the band broke up but they have since reunited, even producing a live recording for their 2013 album, The Shaw Tapes.
