Toronto Football Club, commonly referred to as Toronto FC or TFC, is a Major League Soccer (MLS) soccer club based in Toronto, Ontario that competes in the Eastern Conference. Toronto FC joined MLS in 2007 as the first Canadian expansion team. Home matches are played at BMO Field, which the club shares with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). 2017 was a great year for Toronto FC as they won the MLS Cup, Supporters' Shield and Canadian Championship, making them the first and only MLS club to complete a domestic treble. Fans of the club set the standard for club support by completely selling out TFC's first three seasons. Already long-standing rivals in the National Hockey League (NHL), Toronto FC's biggest rival naturally is nearby neighbor CF Montréal.
