Many Disney Cast Members are fluent in more than one language. The flags on their nametags indicate which languages they speak. Measure your child's height before you arrive at the Park so
you know which attractions he or she is able to ride. Study a map of the Park prior to your arrival to become familiar with the location of the attractions that interest you most. We recommend wearing one-piece swimsuits on the more thrilling attractions, including Humunga Kowabunga at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Summit Plummet at Disney's Blizzard Beach.
In addition, swim attire with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on the attractions. Lockers, towels and life vests for children are available for rent. Life vests are provided free of charge for Guests who wish to leave an identification card. Arrive early if you wish to secure a lounge chair. There are also picnic areas where you may enjoy your own food, however, please note that no alcoholic beverages or glass containers are permitted. When arriving at the Parks, start at the back of the Park and make your way to the front, since the Parks tend to fill up faster in the front. Tired of zipping down water slides? Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have "lazy rivers" that circle the entire Park. Hop in and relax! During the busy summer months, the best time to visit a Disney Water Park is after 3 p.m.
