Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket Is Back! Here's Everything You Need to Know About This Disney World Deal

Inside This Post Inside This Post

Walt Disney World Resort is an exciting place to visit this summer! With the grand opening of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, the debut of the new limited-time sing-along show, "¡Celebración Encanto!," at the CommuniCore Plaza stage, plus more character greetings and the mesmerizing "Disney Dreams That Soar" drone show, there's a whole lot of magic in store for you. If you're considering a summer Disney vacation, then this is a must-read! We're here to fill you in on everything you need to know about Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket. This returning ticket option offers a frogtastic opportunity to explore all four Disney World theme parks at an awesome rate! This year, there's also an option to visit three parks ... and some options to add on a visit to the Water Parks, miniature golf and more to build even more fun into your stay. We've gathered all the essential details to help you save on your summer getaway.

Disney 4 Park Magic Ticket - Cinderella Castle

What Is Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket?

In simple terms, Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket grants you admission to each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks on four separate days. Whether you're the meticulous type who loves planning every detail in advance or you prefer to take things at a leisurely pace, this ticket accommodates both styles. But before you start packing your bags, there are a few important points to consider.

The 4-Park Magic Tickets are available for purchase, as of March 12, 2024. The tickets are valid for arrivals between April 2, 2024, and Sept. 22, 2024 (perfect for summer vacation and even the potential start of the Halloween season!) When you go to book your tickets, you will need to pick a start date. (Because you're choosing a start date, you do not need to make theme park reservations.) If you're already familiar with the 4-Park Magic Tickets, you'll notice the start date is a change from last year's offer. In addition, your ticket will expire within seven days of your selected start date or in full on Sept. 28, 2024, whichever occurs first.

Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket - Art of Animation Big Blue Pool

With the 4-Park Magic Ticket, you won't be able to include or upgrade to a Park Hopper (meaning to visit more than one park per day) but you can reenter that same park as many times as you'd like on the same day. So, if you've got plans to utilize Early Theme Park Entry at Magic Kingdom, leave for a midday resort pool break and return in the evening to watch Happily Ever After, you toadally can. Keep in mind that you can only visit each theme park once. For example, you couldn't visit Magic Kingdom twice and skip out on Animal Kingdom.

SAVE UP TO $14

Discount Disney 4-Park Magic Tickets

Lock in Your Savings

You do not have to visit the theme parks on consecutive days. Because there is a seven-day expiration window, you've got a couple of days built in for non-theme park days. This is the perfect opportunity to spend a day relaxing at your resort or indulging in some shopping and dining at Disney Springs.

Is Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket right for you? It might be the best ticket if:

  • You want to visit all four Walt Disney World theme parks
  • You're OK with visiting just one park each day

Are There More Options?

The 4-Park Magic tickets seem like a pretty sweet deal, right? But maybe you want to experience more or are looking for more flexibility. We hear ya! If that's the case, you'll want to check out the 4-Park Magic Ticket with Water Park and Sports Option. This ticket option is the same as above, but also includes four visits to either:

Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket - Typhoon Lagoon

  • Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park
  • Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
  • One round of golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course – green fee only (tee time reservations are required and subject to availability)
  • One round of FootGolf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf course – (available every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday after 2:30 p.m., subject to availability)
  • One round of miniature golf at Disney's Fantasia Gardens (prior to 4 p.m. and cannot be used on the same day as Disney's Winter Summerland)
  • One round of miniature golf at Disney's Winter Summerland (prior to 4 p.m. and cannot be used on the same day as Disney's Fantasia Gardens)
  • One visit to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge)

Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket - Mini Golf

This ticket expires eight days after your selected start date or by Sept. 29, 2024, whichever occurs first. You can visit either of the Disney water parks or golf courses on the same day as a theme park visit. However, you can only visit one miniature golf course each day.

Is Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket with Water Park and Sports Option right for you? It might be the best ticket if:

  • You want to add more Disney experiences to your vacation
  • You want more flexibility
  • You have more time and/or a longer stay

Disney 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket

If you're thinking you'd prefer a shorter trip, there are two more options to consider. I mean, who doesn't like options? The first is the Disney 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket. This ticket requires a start date and expires five days after that selected date or on Sept. 28, 2024, whichever comes first. You are guaranteed admission to three separate theme parks on three separate days, except for Magic Kingdom. This ticket does not include park hopping and cannot be upgraded to include it.

For a bit more flexibility, there's also the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket with Water Park and Sports Option. This is similar to the 3-Park ticket mentioned above, but includes the addition of three visits to either:

The 3-Park, 3-Day Water Park and Sports Option expires within six days of the selected start date or by Sept. 29, 2024. Both of the Disney 3-Park, 3-Day Tickets are available as of March 12, 2024, and are valid for visits from April 2, 2024, through Sept. 24, 2024. Theme park reservations are not required.

What Else Do I Need to Know?

  • Pricing for the 4-Day Magic Ticket begins at $99 (+tax) per day for adults and $79 per day (+tax) for children over 3 years old. Meanwhile, the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket pricing starts at $89 per day (+tax). Of course, your favorite frogs here at Undercover Tourist offer these tickets at a discount — and they also include a 365-day money-back guarantee. This deal allows you to save major green versus standard ticket pricing.
  • Theme park parking is not included with the 4-Park Magic Tickets or the 3-Day, 3-Park Tickets. However, parking is free at the Disney water parks and golf courses. If you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, standard theme park parking is included with your stay.
  • Walt Disney World Resort transportation is free for all park guests, even if you're not staying on-site.

Disney 4-Park Magic Ticket - Monorail

  • The 4-Park Magic Ticket or 3-Day, 3-Park options do not include the Disney Dining Plan.
  • Be sure to check the refurbishment schedule for the Disney water parks. As of now, Blizzard Beach is scheduled for refurbishment over the summer.
  • To help maximize your time in the parks, hop over to our Disney World park plans! We've got one for each Walt Disney World Theme Park to make planning your day a breeze.

I'm trying to plan for next year (coming from California). When was the press release in 2024 for the 4-day 4-park ticket? I'm wondering if I should just book my hotel and flights now for April and then just hope they offer the same deals? thoughts?

Hi Tina!

We do not know if Disney will offer the 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket again in 2025, so we can't guarantee it will return by April — or at all. Historically, for this year, tickets were valid from April 2 to Sept. 22, 2024, and the offer was announced in mid-March. In 2023, which was the first year the ticket was offered, it was announced in mid-May for visits valid for June 1 through Sept. 29, 2023.

I understand that with the 3-day, 3park ticket you can only visit one park per day. However, would you be able to leave that park and re-enter it in the same day? For example, if we enter EPCOT, then want to go back to the resort for a break, could we return to EPCOT that same day??

I know there have been many questions about the 4 day Magic Ticket, but I couldn't find my specific question. It says arrival date through Sept 22nd. We are actually traveling to Orlando on Sept 22nd; we're not able to leave earlier with my job schedule. If we use the tickets for the first day on Sept 23rd, will they still work? I'm thinking it will be fine based on the statement "use any 4 days between 9/22 and 9/28, but I would like to be sure before I buy them.

Hi Christy!

When selecting a start date of Sept. 22, the ticket details state: "Your tickets are valid for admission to one theme park each day on any 4 days from Sept. 22, 2024 through Sept. 28, 2024. Tickets do not have to be used on consecutive dates. Tickets are nonrefundable. After expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price."

So the 3 day 3 park ticket works like a park hopper but does not include Magic Kingdom? Can I only go to each park one a day or can I go back and forth between all 3 multiple times a day? thx

Hi DisneyD!

Correct, the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket does not include Magic Kingdom nor does it include park hopping, so you would pick one full day to dedicate to EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. You may only visit each park once (therefore, you couldn't use this ticket to visit EPCOT twice and skip Hollywood Studios).

Hi Dustin!

The 4-Park Magic Ticket is still a relatively new ticket offer (last year was the first year it had been offered). For both last and this year, it was/is available over the summer — so we don't think it would be offered again until next summer (& we don't know if it will come back for a third year). Hi,

we are looking into the 4-day tickets with waterpark and sports option for our holiday this April/May. In your information you mention: "You can visit either of the Disney water parks or golf courses on the same day as a theme park visit.". I reckon though, that this ticket does allow you to use your plus options on other days than your theme park visit-days?

Also, is it allowed to visit the same plus option more than once within the 8-day window (we'd love to visit Typhoon Lagoon a couple of times)?

Thanks!

Hi Manon!

The 4-Park Magic & 3-Day, 3-Park Plus option works the same as the standard Plus tickets, so yes, you can use your Plus options on non-theme park days and you can visit the same Plus option more than once during the 8-day window. (However, you can't visit both mini-golf courses on the same day.)

Hi Crissy!

While we don't see an issue with purchasing the 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket twice to use back-to-back (make sure they have different start dates), you may want to keep in mind that the ticket excludes Magic Kingdom, so you would be visiting Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios twice. If you wish to visit Magic Kingdom, we'd recommend a different ticket.

I'm taking my 15 & 12yo in May specifically for Hollywood Studios. I can't decide btw the 3 or 4 day pass. We will be there Thu-Mon, so 3 full days at parks. They aren't as interested in Magic Kingdom, but they just associate it with Mickey and don't want to miss out if they change their minds. Also thinking we want the Park hopper, which I don't think you can get with the 3-day? Any advice? :)

Hi Amanda!

Correct, you can't get park hopping with the 4-Day Magic Ticket or 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket, so if you've been thinking about park hopping and want more flexibility with your plans in case they change their minds about Magic Kingdom or even if they end up loving a park and want to go back for a second day (since these tickets only allow one day at each park), we'd recommend that route. While Magic Kingdom does have more rides for littles, they might be interested in Tron Lightcycle / Run, a newer coaster with thrills fit for tweens and teens. (We think it's usually better safe than sorry!) Otherwise, if you don't think they'd change their minds about Magic Kingdom or wouldn't want to return to a park, then the 3-Day Ticket would be a good fit.

Reply

Hi Amy!

The biggest difference is that the 4-Park Magic Ticket only allows entry to each theme park once, while the regular 4-Day Base ticket allows you to choose the combination of parks for those 4 days (for instance, if you want to visit Magic Kingdom twice and skip one of the parks). The 4-Park Magic Ticket also is only valid for arrivals up until Sept. 22, 2024, while the 4-Day Base ticket is currently valid for travel through Oct. 31, 2025.

We really want to go to the parks for 5 days the 2nd week in August - is it best to buy the 4 park, and then just get one day tickets? It looks like this would still be cheaper than a 5 day ticket, correct?

Reply

FrogBlog Says...

Hi Jennifer!

We would suggest comparing prices by putting the 4-Day Magic ticket & a 1-Day ticket (pricing depends on which park you're going to use this 1-Day ticket for) in the cart together versus a 5-Day Base ticket. Pricing varies depending on the selected date. When we tried it with the example of 4-Day Magic and 5-Day tickets both starting on Aug. 13 and a 1-Day Magic Kingdom ticket (the most expensive option) on Aug. 14, it looked like the 5-Day Base ticket would be slightly cheaper than the 4-Day Magic/1-Day Magic Kingdom ticket combo. But it will ultimately depend on your starting dates and 1-Day park selection (if you're choosing a different park than Magic Kingdom, it could potentially turn out to be cheaper).
