The Ski Tip Lodge's charm extends from the historic building's exterior to the newly updated rooms and all the little details, including board games available at the front desk and a ceramic cookie jar filled with house-baked treats. An inviting staff welcomes guests "home" to the cozy rooms.
Once the family residence of the resort founders, Max and Edna Dercum, it's no surprise that the two living rooms, complete with stone fireplaces and hand-hewn beams, are perfect for lounging with your morning coffee. It's also a great place to have an evening cocktail and mingle with guests of the on-site, award-winning Ski Tip restaurant.
In winter, take advantage of complimentary afternoon teatime - hot teas, coffee and house-made sweets from Ski Tip chefs offer the perfect way to warm up after a day of adventure. Come summer, the sunny patio offers lush forest views and a cool mountain breeze. Be sure to ask about après offerings during peak summer and winter seasons.
When it comes to rooms, choose from two styles: a private room with a queen bed and bathroom or a two-bedroom suite with one queen bed and two twin beds adjoined by a private bathroom.
