Centrally located and physically prominent, the Chicago Architecture Center presents an engaging look at why the Chicago skyline is so dazzling. This museum has two floors of exhibits filled with super-sized models, amazing views and interactive touchscreens to learn more about the architectural significance of the city both past and present. Chicago is the birthplace of the modern skyscraper and tadpoles will love checking out the Skyscraper Gallery, which provides towering scale models of skyscrapers around the world. There is also a massive 3D model of the city’s downtown area in the Chicago Gallery.
