Universal Express
The Universal Express Pass allows you to skip the regular lines at most rides and attractions at Universal Orlando Resort. Universal Express is an add-on to regular park admission. Regular theme park admission is required. You can choose to skip the regular lines at one or both theme parks on the day or days of your choice. (Express Pass for Universal’s Volcano Bay is a separate purchase.)
The only rides that do not offer Universal Express are Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and Pteranodon Flyers at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
There are two options with Universal Express:
- With the Universal Express Pass, you can skip the regular line one time per participating rides.
- With the Universal Express Unlimited Pass, you can skip the regular lines an unlimited number of times at participating rides.
Do I Need to Buy the Universal Express Pass?
It’s great to skip the regular theme park lines all the time, but do you absolutely need to purchase Universal Express? Not always. If you are staying at select Universal Orlando Resort hotels — Universal’s Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Universal’s Hard Rock Hotel or Universal’s Loews Royal Pacific Resort — it is included for free for the length of your stay (regular theme park admission is required)!

- The parks are expected to be super busy:
- You are staying off-site and cannot take advantage of free Universal Express or Early Park Admission, especially during a busy time:
- You only have one day (or a shorter visit during a very busy time) and want to ride as much as possible:
