ARTECHOUSE DC
Frog Family Rating:
Opened in 2017, ARTECHOUSE DC was the first ARTECHOUSE location to open, bringing a uniquely digital art space to the National Mall area. Inviting frogs of all ages to step into an imaginative installation that merges art and science, each of the ARTECHOUSE exhibitions push the limits of a gallery space by utilizing technology as their medium. ARTECHOUSE utilizes the largest seamless megapixel count projections of any cultural institution plus spatialized sound technology to immerse you into a depth-defying art landscape. Exhibits have included a frogtastic cherry blossom festival experience, Afro-Surrealist work from Vince Fraser, color-engulfing displays to align with Pantone’s Color of the Year and more!
As an artist incubator, ARTECHOUSE is committed to providing an exhibition platform that allows creatives to think past the limits of the gallery wall for ribbiting and novel displays in our nation’s capital of Washington, D.C.
