In honor of Valentine's Day, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to make something special for my big brother Tad, who is the best brother in the world.
After I saw Steph from Crafting in the Rain's post a few weeks ago for a Mickey Mouse valentine card, I knew I had the very most perfect project, because Tad loves Mickey almost as much as I do. Of course, I needed a little help since I am not allowed to use scissors by myself, and I have found from past projects that my mommy (that's Mommy Frog to all of you) doesn't like it when I use the glue without her supervision. Luckily, she agreed to help me :)
It took us a little longer than I expected since we experimented with a few different pretty papers and cutouts of Mickey, but it was totally worth it, because when I presented it to Tad at breakfast this morning, he proclaimed:
"It looks like you almost bought it from the store -- only it is way better!"
Did I mention Tad is the best brother in the world?
Of course, we weren't the only ones to make the valentine. Reader Amy Johns made one for her son.
