What to Know About the 2023 Billy Joel Tour
Billy Joel is a beloved American singer, songwriter and composer who has sold more than 150 million records worldwide. Joel has won six Grammy Awards and a Tony Award. He's been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Some of his most popular songs include "Piano Man," "Uptown Girl," "Just the Way You Are," "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant," "Only the Good Die Young," "We Didn't Start the Fire" and "The Longest Time." He will most likely play some of his classic hits during this tour. He just has so many; it's almost impossible to know which ones he will play!
The Billy Joel Tour is a mix of once-a-month residency dates at Madison Square Garden in New York City, interspersed with other performances at different venues. Stevie Nicks joins him as his opener for the performances outside of Madison Square Garden. Since 2013, Billy Joel has held a record-breaking residency at Madison Square Garden, selling out multiple shows. He will give his final Madison Square Garden performance in July 2024. It will be his 150th show at that venue! (He played there for the first time in 1978.) That means time is running out to see Billy Joel at this iconic location.
